Spencer Can Read

I need to spotlight Spencer here for a minute. He has just started reading books to me. I gave him the 10 beginner books I grew up reading and let him have at it. The boy is smart, and sounded out every word. He is just taking off with all he's learning and I'm so grateful things come easily to him. He seems to excel in learning, and what more could a mom ask for. Can you believe it? My not so little "red" is reading. Rob and I are so excited for him, but having a hard time with it as well. Not that he's growing up, cuz that's great and he loves it, it's that we're getting old. Anyways, good job Spence, you are the little man of the family, and we're so proud of you. Keep practicing, (that's a tough one sweetie) and you'll get even better.

Nice new look! I loved it when Kelsie started to read and she still amazes me how fast she reads books! It's a lot more fun going to the library when they know what they want to read too! Good job, Spencer!

I used a free template from matiekay.blogspot.com. Just go to her website and follow the instructions. There were a lot of others out there, but hers seemed simple enough for me.
Good luck

k, seriously tice, I love, love, love that you capitalized the H in Hell, that really made me chuckle. i've been thinking about you a lot lately, and all i want to do is run with you down the length of the gym and dive and slide. i have no idea why i have this obsession, but wouldn't that be so fun. think of all the crazy looks we would get.

This is a comment for Spenc.

Spenc I feel your pain with the loss to the Chargers. Those stinking cheaters the Patriots needed to go down huh! If LT would have played they might have had a better chance. Oh well there is next year, now it is time for you to start focusing on the Cubbies and the Tigers. Follow me kid I won't lead you astray.

Like the jersey.

YEAH FOR SPENCER! AND YEAH FOR HIS MOM!!! My mom teaches 1st grade so I hear all the horror stories of parents that expect the teachers to do it all.

I love listening to Tyann sound out words. It just makes me happy!
