Turkey Day

Thanksgiving was wonderful. We were all a little worried for a while. First, because my parents flight got delayed and didn't arrive till 2 hours later, but mostly because the big 20 pounder almost didn't make it. My calculations were way off with this bird. I started it @ 7:15am, it wasn't done until just before 4pm. Whoa! Yah, .....there was a lot of drama, all by me, because I was thinking how awful Thanksgiving was going to turn out, because I screwed up the bird , BUT.....we pulled through. And it was the best bird I've made. Super juicy and awesome! So although, the rolls had to be reheated, everything else turned out great, and was super tasty. I am so glad my parents came. They are the neatest people. I'm too lucky. It's not very often you come across people who just make you happy, because they make you feel so good about yourself. Who are so positive, good, unselfish beyond any measure, loving, and who turn out to be your parents. How lucky am I? I love you mom and dad. You are truly the best out there. The boys miss you already, and we can't wait for your next visit. Hopefully by then, we'll all be able to ride in the same care without Rob the "Shuttler", and we'll have more appropriate lodging conditions. Thanks for being such troopers. Go Cougs!

Jen, first of all, I thought about you about 100 times on your birthday! My stupid planner wouldn't stop beeping at me and reminding me that I needed to call you. I was so worried I'd forget so I kept pushing "snooze" then I got so sick of it going off that I pressed "finished" and then guess what???... I forgot to call :) Anyway, happy 28th chica! I really thought about you all day. And secondly, your parents are the best! I miss them and calling your mom in a panic asking her to record "Days". Anyway, I'm glad your Thanksgiving turned out... you are adorable and I'm impressed with your menu! Love ya!

I cant even imagine having to supply my parents with a thanksgiving meal! i was stressed out enough with rolls, green beans, and a pie as my assignments! I basically couldnt sleep over all the worry! And then you go and make the entire meal! Super lady as always! I miss seeing your parents! They always were so wonderfully sweet and supportive and just happy people. I bet it is kinda fun to have such special times with them. I think I take for granted that me parents are 2 minutes away! Happy Thanksgiving!

Jen...you are amazing! I can't believe how much work you put in to your Thanksgiving dinner. Mom & Dad said it was really good! You put the rest of us to shame by making homemade rolls! Love you!

RTFTO is one of Tice's suggestions on what I should put on my softball shirts this year. She said it is from Alta...think back! It is not exactly sweet. I think she said Ally came up with it when you were playing Bingham. If you still need help, call Tice, let her dirty mouth say it!

Do you not remember what RTFTO means? Erin Ross made it up... if my memory is correct! It's hillarious... but terrible, but we were hillarious and terrible in high school so it's perfect! If you wanna know, call me :)
